Does RODE Central (Mic Software) Work on Linux?

RODE microphone

RODE Central is a software tool that allows you to easily modify settings on and download recordings from RODE microphones like the Rode Wireless GO II (WIGO II).

Unfortunately, RODE Central is only available on Mac and Windows, not on Linux. However, there is also a RODE Central app that is available on Android as well as iOS devices.

Additionally, with many Linux distributions (or more specifically, with some Linux drivers) you can plug the RODE II receiver into your computer and use the RODE II transmitter(s) as an audio source even if you can’t download or use the RODE Central software.
